We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Richard B. Lane. Richard passed away on June 24, 2024. Please read his obituary here to honor his memory.
Richard Lane joined the firm in 1958. He was a founding member alongside his father, Myron Lane who opened the firm in 1938. He attended Middlebury College obtaining his undergraduate degree in 1955, and his law degree from Harvard University in 1958.
Richard's primarily practiced in the areas of Banking Law, Business Law, Conveyancing Law, and Probate Law.
Richard was Special Assistant District Attorney in 1959 and Special Assistant District Attorney for Plymouth County in 1965.
Richard was a member of the Quincy, Norfolk County, Massachusetts and American Bar Associations, and the Massachusetts Conveyancer’s Association.

Bob Gorfinkle’s practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning, probate of estates, business planning and elder law. He is the past President of the Norfolk and Plymouth County Estate and Business Planning Counsel and past President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is a former adjunct professor at Boston College Law School.

Bob received his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Boston University, his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School, and his Master of Laws (in Taxation) from New York University Law School.

Robert “Bob” Cirafice is a lifelong resident of the South Shore and primarily practices Real Estate and Workers Compensation Law.
Bob attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, prior to obtaining his law degree from New England Law in 2017.
Following law school, Bob worked for one of the largest personal injury firms in Massachusetts, successfully representing injured workers in all phases of litigation before the Department of Industrial Accidents. In 2020, Bob joined a large Real Estate Firm, and conducted hundreds of real estate closings.
When he is not at work, Bob enjoys attempting to play golf and hockey. He currently resides in Braintree with his wife, daughter, and his dog, Lincoln.
