Richard B. Lane
Richard Lane founded the firm in 1958. He attended Middlebury College obtaining his undergraduate degree in 1955, and his law degree from Harvard University in 1958.
Mr. Lane’s primary area of practice is in the areas of Banking Law, Business Law, Conveyancing Law, and Probate Law.
Mr. Lane was Special Assistant District Attorney in 1959 and Special Assistant District Attorney for Plymouth County in 1965.
Mr. Lane is a member of the Quincy, Norfolk County, Massachusetts and American Bar Associations, and the Massachusetts Conveyancer’s Association.

Robert A. Gorfinkle
Bob Gorfinkle’s practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning, probate of estates, business planning and elder law. He is the past President of the Norfolk and Plymouth County Estate and Business Planning Counsel and past President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is a former adjunct professor at Boston College Law School.
Martindale-Hubbell has awarded Bob its highest rating (AV Preeminent 5.0 out of 5.0) by Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings. AVVO has given Bob its highest rating of 10.
Bob received his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Boston University, his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School, and his Master of Laws (in Taxation) from New York University Law School.

Paul J. Bella
Paul J. Bella is an attorney in the firm’s Estate Planning and Probate Practice Group. Paul works closely with individuals and families to understand their priorities and goals to plan for a financially secure future. Paul advises his clients on all aspects of estate planning, including asset protection, long-term care planning, and preservation of wealth for future generations.
Paul frequently represents Personal Representatives in probate administration matters, and assists Trustees in navigating the trust administration process. He has handled a wide variety of probate cases including contested estates, spousal elective shares, and the prevention of foreclosure on estate property. Paul has represented clients at trial and obtained favorable results, and also has experience negotiating settlements. Paul has represented clients in complex litigation concerning Conservatorships and Adult Guardianships, including cases involving Rogers Authority and substituted judgment. Paul has successfully argued before the Medicaid Board of Hearings, appealing MassHealth’s denial of coverage for long-term care.
Prior to working for Lane, Lane & Kelly, Paul worked in Boston-area law firms focusing primarily on Trust and Estate matters, along with Guardianship and Conservatorship cases. Paul has also represented low-income clients who could not afford legal assistance in Guardianship matters, and in Social Security matters where he achieved favorable outcomes for his clients.

Robert J. Cirafice
Robert “Bob” Cirafice is a lifelong resident of the South Shore and primarily practices Real Estate and Workers Compensation Law.
Bob attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, prior to obtaining his law degree from New England Law | Boston in 2017.
Following law school, Bob worked for one of the largest personal injury firms in Massachusetts, successfully representing injured workers in all phases of litigation before the Department of Industrial Accidents. In 2020, Bob joined a large Real Estate Firm, and conducted hundreds of real estate closings.
When he is not at work, Bob enjoys attempting to play golf and hockey. He currently resides in Braintree with his wife, daughter, and his dog, Lincoln.
