Paul J. Bella is an attorney in the firm’s Estate Planning and Probate Practice Group. Paul works closely with individuals and families to understand their priorities and goals to plan for a financially secure future. Paul advises his clients on all aspects of estate planning, including asset protection, long-term care planning, and preservation of wealth for future generations.
Paul assists Trustees in trust administration and frequently represents Personal Representatives in probate administration matters. He has handled a wide variety of probate cases including matters involving the prevention of foreclosure on estate property. Paul has also represented clients in complex litigation concerning Conservatorships and Adult Guardianships, including cases involving Rogers Authority and substituted judgment.
Prior to working for Lane, Lane & Kelly, Paul worked in Boston-area law firms focusing primarily on Trust and Estate matters, along with Guardianship and Conservatorship cases. As a student attorney, Paul represented low-income clients who could not afford legal assistance in Guardianship matters, and in Social Security appeals where he achieved favorable outcomes for his clients.
